It’s hard to believe how quickly this month flew by. When you’re building something meaningful, time has a way of speeding up.

September was all about planting roots with our Thursday Resource Hub, and thanks to you, we’ve already seen incredible fruit. From meals shared to showers offered, this past month reminded us that the Kingdom shows up in the most practical places.

September Recap

🧺 Resource Hub in Full Swing

We launched strong! Every Thursday from 10am–5pm, we’ve welcomed 25–35 neighbors into our Resource Hub, where they've received:

👕 200 lbs of clothing

🧴 350+ hygiene items

🚍 Bus passes, freely offered to anyone who needed them

🍽️ Meals—thanks to YOU!

• Meal Support Overflowed! Last month we asked for help providing lunches—and you delivered.
• ✅ All four weeks of meals were fully covered with volunteers prepping and delivering hot food.
• 💵 One week’s meals were even fully sponsored financially 🙌

🚿 Showers On Wheels

• A generous family stepped up to donate access to their RV with a working shower, giving our neighbors a clean, warm, and dignified experience when they need it most.

📖 Bible Study Every Thursday Morning

• We kicked off a weekly pre-Hub Bible study at 10am, and it’s been full of life. Friends have been diving into Scripture, asking deep questions, and meeting Jesus in real ways.

October is full of promise—and we need your help to keep the momentum going.

🙋 Volunteer at the Resource Hub

We’re looking for folks to serve hour-long shifts between 10am–5pm on Thursdays. Help greet neighbors, serve meals, organize clothes, or just show up with kindness and care.

💡 Let us know what you can offer on Thursdays

We’re beginning to explore what more we can offer through the Hub. Think:

• Free haircuts and professional washes
• Mobile health clinics
• Job fairs, resume help, and social work access

If you have resources, contacts, or dreams in any of these areas—we’d love to talk. Reply to this email with your ideas.

🧥 Coat Drive: GOAL = 1,000 Coats!

It’s time for our 3rd Annual Coat Drive, and this year we’re going big. Our goal is 1,000 coats for our neighbors before winter hits.

You can help by:

• Donating new or gently used coats (all sizes!)
• Giving financially at lifevineyardchurch.com/give​
• Spreading the word far and wide!

Let’s make sure no neighbor goes cold this winter.
